Important Notice for Travellers to Prayagraj 1. Avoid booking hotels in Prayagraj online, as heavy traffic congestion may prevent you from reaching your hotel as planned. If you are unable to check in, you may not receive a refund for your booking. 2. We personally booked a hotel in Prayagraj through MakeMyTrip portal, made the payment, and arrived in the city around 8 p.m. last Sunday. The hotel was just 9 km away, yet after nearly five hours, we had covered only 2 km. With another 7 km to go, it became clear that reaching the hotel could take an additional 14 to 15 hours. Realizing the situation, we contacted MakeMyTrip customer support, and fortunately, we managed to get a refund. However, not all booking platforms offer refunds in such cases. 3. To avoid inconvenience and financial loss, it is safer to book your stay directly at a hotel upon arrival rather than making online reservations. 4. Our experience in Prayagraj was truly exceptional. Every detail was meticulously planned and executed by the Uttar Pradesh Government, ensuring a seamless and well-organized experience.
