The government has announced that over 2 million tourists arrived in Sri Lanka in the past year, 2024. Accordingly, this report has been prepared based on data from the Sri Lanka Tourism Development Authority (SLTDA) and the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL). It also presents the foreign exchange earnings generated from tourist arrivals, with the revenue for 2024 amounting to USD 3,128.7 million.
