The date of celebration of this event coincides with the birthday of this famous Jamaican singer, being named as Bob Marley Day.💐 Who was Bob Marley? Robert Nesta Marley, better known as Bob Marley, was a great musician, guitarist and composer of Reggae music, born in Nine Mile (Jamaica) on February 6, 1945. His mother (Cedella Booker) was Afro-Jamaican and his father (Norval Marley) was a naval captain of English descent. He had four children with his wife Rita Anderson and legally recognized nine children from other couples. He forged a prominent career in the Reggae music genre. He was the leader, composer and guitarist of the musical bands The Wailers (1964-1974) and Bob Marley & The Wailers (1974-1980). Thanks to his artistic career, he contributed to the worldwide dissemination of Jamaican music and promoted the Rastafari movement, of which he was a faithful representative.💐🇯🇲🌍
