Multiple fully funded positions are available in permafrost engineering, geoscience, and geotechnical engineering. 🎯 Available Positions: ✅ 2 PhD positions (Geotechnical/Geological Engineering & Geophysics) – Study warm permafrost in mine reclamation (Mitacs Accelerate-funded, in collaboration with WSP). Field & numerical research with travel to Yellowknife. Preference for candidates with industry experience. ✅ 1 PhD & 1 MSc position – Study permafrost thaw & northern infrastructure within the NSERC CREATE LEAP program. Includes online training & a northern field school. ✅ 1 PhD & 1 MSc position – Focus on community-based monitoring of permafrost thaw’s impact on infrastructure.
