*Ondo Finance Commissioner Caught Spraying Money in Viral Video* Looks like another Nigerian official is in hot water for breaking the law, this time, it’s the Ondo State Finance Commissioner, Mrs. Omowunmi Isaac. A video of her spraying naira notes at an event has gone viral, and people are not happy about it. In the clip, the commissioner is seen throwing N500 notes on musicians after someone handed her N1000 notes. While it might seem like a fun party move, it’s actually against the law. Under the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) Act, spraying, stepping on, or dancing on the naira is considered currency abuse, and it’s punishable by law. This isn’t the first time someone’s been called out for this. Remember Bobrisky? The popular crossdresser was jailed last year for spraying money at an event. The courts didn’t go easy on him—no fine, just straight jail time. It was a clear message: mess with the naira, and there will be consequences. Now, everyone’s wondering if the commissioner will face the same fate. EFCC was reached out to for comments, and they said they’ll look into the video. So, it’s possible Mrs. Isaac could be in trouble soon. The CBN and law enforcement agencies have been clear about protecting the naira’s integrity. Spraying money might look cool at parties, but it’s illegal, and it devalues the currency. Plus, it’s not a great look for someone in charge of managing state finances. What do you think? Should the commissioner face the same consequences as Bobrisky, or is this being blown out of proportion?
