This follows a successful pilot conducted in December 2024 the launch of the National AI Office (NAIO), which demonstrated the potential of AI in improving productivity and efficiency within the public sector. According to Google, the pilot phase, conducted with 270 public officers from various agencies, revealed significant productivity gains. Participants reported an average time saving of 3.25 hours per week, with 97 percent indicating that generative AI had improved their workflow. Encouraged by these results, the Ministry of Digital is now scaling AI at Work 2.0 to extend these benefits across all government departments.
