The image depicts a wound with linear splitting of the tissue, sharp margins, and crushed hair follicles, which is suggestive of an incised-looking lacerated wound.
Incised-looking lacerated wounds are seen at sites where the skin overlies an area of the bone where there is scanty underlying subcutaneous tissue. A blunt force causes linear splitting of the tissue which results in the laceration resembling an incised wound. There will be extensive tissue crushing but the margins will be clear and delineable.
