Weekends are generally chill days for me!! But today, I had an EPIC meetup 🚴🏿‍♂️🔥 with a fellow Veteran! 🎉 I linked up with a lady who proudly calls herself Bicycle Owner 🚲💪🏿—Ms. Wanjiru. How did we meet? Both of us had signed up for the longest bicycle tour in Tanzania 🇹🇿 in 2024—TwendeButiama—a legendary ride honoring the legacy of Mwalimu Julius Kabarange Nyerere 👏🏿. I look forward to seeing more Kenyans, including Charles, Wanjiru, and myself, join this incredible charity ride in October 2025. Though we didn’t start together (I kicked off from the second stop in Msata 🚴🏿‍♂️➡️), having already cycled for seven days from Kenya, we had promised to meet somewhere along the journey. Life happens, time flies, and guess what? Today was THE DAY! 💥💥 We finally connected, had an absolute blast sharing our cycling experiences 🌍, discussing the highs and lows of life on two wheels 🚲, and embracing the beauty of the journey. This bicycle life is something else! 🤩 It seems to be my passport to meeting incredible souls ❤️—each with a unique story to tell 📖, just like mine: from surgery to a bicycle.
