*Unitree’s Dancing Robots Wow the World!😳*
Unitree Robotics is pushing the limits of humanoid robots with impressive advancements in dancing and resilience. Their H1 robots recently performed alongside humans at the Spring Festival Gala, marking the world’s first fully AI-driven, large-scale robot dance performance. Viewed by over 1 billion people, the robots showcased synchronized moves like spinning and catching handkerchiefs, perfectly timed to the music. To make robot movements more natural, Unitree released an open-source dataset that helps models like H1, H1-2, and G1 learn dance routines from pre-recorded videos and human interactions.
In a recent demonstration, the G1 robot displayed enhanced balance and resilience, continuing to dance even after being hit by a soccer ball or a giant cotton swab. This update boosts the robot's ability to stay focused and stable in unpredictable environments, making it more adaptable for real-world applications.
