Celebrating International Mother Language Day International Mother Language Day is observed every year on *February 21*. This day promotes awareness of linguistic and cultural diversity and multilingualism. It's a significant event that commemorates the martyrs who fought for the recognition of their mother language, Bengali, in Bangladesh. Language is more than just a medium of communication—it is the soul of a culture, the keeper of traditions, and the bridge that connects generations. On International Mother Language Day, we honor the linguistic diversity that shapes our identities and broadens our understanding of the world. For me, language is a journey. My mother tongue is Hindi, the language that carries the warmth of home, the rhythm of my heritage, and the essence of my roots. It is the language in which emotions find their purest expressions. At the same time, English is my first language—the language of my education, my profession, and my global voice. It has empowered me to connect with diverse minds and facilitate learning beyond borders. As a facilitator of English, I understand the power of language in shaping perspectives, fostering knowledge, and opening doors to endless opportunities. Yet, I also recognize the significance of preserving and celebrating our native languages, ensuring that they thrive alongside the ones we acquire. On this day, let us embrace linguistic diversity and encourage multilingualism, recognizing that every language holds its own beauty and wisdom. Let us celebrate the power of words that unite us, whether they come from our mother tongue or the languages we learn along the way. #internationalmotherlanguageday #linguisticdiversity #languageunitesus
