Community Media Consultative Forum: 30 Years of Freedom, Community Media and Beyond. On Tuesday, 04 February 2025, Hon. Deputy Minister in the Presidency, Kenny Morolong, will deliver a keynote address at a Community Media Consultative Forum to be held at the Khayelitsha Thusong Centre. The Forum aims to bring government, community media, industry partners and regulatory bodies to reflect on community media's contributions in the past 30 years of democracy in South Africa while also tackling challenges facing the sector today including sustainability and digitalisation to fortify the sector for the future.
