The Kenya Kwanza manifesto acknowledges the vital role of the wildlife economy. This morning, I paid a courtesy call to the Council of Governors Tourism & Wildlife Committee, where I had productive discussions with Chair Hon. Patrick Keturet Ole Ntutu, alongside Hon. Andrew Mwadime and Hon. Wilber Ottichilo, EGH. Together with Council, we explored key priorities for a thriving tourism and conservation sector including: ✅ Amplifying Wildlife Education and Awareness ✅ Wildlife Census for data-driven policies ✅ Supporting Tourism Product Development in counties ✅ Establishing a Tourism & Wildlife Intergovernmental Forum ✅ Aligning policy & legislation with devolution I reaffirm the Ministry of Tourism and Wildlife unwavering commitment to partnering with county governments to advance conservation, tourism growth and community empowerment.
