💌 Dear SOMED, One key effect of being under a nurturing system is growth and development. A sonship, mentorship and discipleship is useless if growth and development isn't effected. Part of the resources to believers growth and development is the word of God. The Bible. Important therefore, is the reading of the Bible. This brings about familiarization with the ideas, concepts and events of scriptures. But the true gleaning of needed virtue for growth and development is from the study of God's word. *An effective way being, STUDYING TOPICALLY.* There are many truths in God's Truth and only that which we've given ourselves to in making us can truly set us free. So, it's wise to take on one subject at a time as we journey with the Lord. Example. Let's say, one key emphasises for you is the need to be healed. 1. You'd need to go through the scriptures and search out every place and word you can find healing. Ensuring to get what God is saying about the subject. *Never forget that the reason for this first step is to hear, see and learn what God has to say about the subject.* 2. Get materials of men who were faithful on teaching and expressing the subject in the body of Christ. Watch their videos, read their books. Consume as much as you can about it. *Pst. Lawrence Oyor said,* you need to have watched atleast 50videos (books) on the subject to really come into mastery of the concept. *This part is to strengthen your conviction. Because it's far easier to move when others have blazed the trail.* 3. War for the truth you are contending for. Stay in the place of prayer and battle it out. This is the time to consciously ensure that the realities(truth) of healing seen in scriptures and in the lives of others materialize your own physical life. *It's super imposing the will of God has revealed in scriptures and in others over our situation.* 4. Act on the revelation of God's truth released. Without yielding to instructions and principles of God's truth. It will be impossible for anyone to come into rest.
