💌 *THE CHANGE THAT PRESERVES.* Matthew 9:16-17 KJV [16] No man putteth a piece of new cloth unto an old garment, for that which is put in to fill it up taketh from the garment, and the rent is made worse. [17] Neither do men put new wine into old bottles: else the bottles break, and the wine runneth out, and the bottles perish: but they put new wine into new bottles, *and both are preserved.* ... Sometimes, we need to let go of that which covers, guards and brings honour to us, for a completely unfamiliar reality. A new reality which will cause us to be seen in a completely different light from what we are familiar with. A new reality, system, terrain, or thought pattern which is different from what formerly satisfies and thrills us. Why? *The need to preserve life and destiny.* You can't keep holding back while the Lord has moved on, you can't be moving ahead when the Lord is stepping back, you can't keep moving when the Lord is still. New is not much of novelty but rather *being in God's current emphasis for your life and destiny.* Failure to do so means, you'd tear, break and spill away, just as the old garment and wine. Value will depreciate. Being in the new is abiding in God's current emphasis for you. Old is the former. He that comes to God must know that, HE IS. Not He was or He will be but HE IS. THIS IS FAITH. So, whoever isn't in God's new is not in faith. If not in faith then is in sin. Preservation will be lost. As long as Adam remained in God's emphasis, He and his family were preserved. Once he decided to abide in the old. He lost his preservation. Became valueless and lost. Embrace your change. Move into the new place. Move into the new things. Move into the new relationships. Don't loose your preservation. Embrace God's New. ..
