Education activist Hendrick Makaneta has called on the newly appointed NSFAS board to urgently address student accommodation challenges by ensuring timely payments. Makaneta also urged the board to investigate students unfairly removed from funding lists and push for university partnerships to provide temporary housing solutions. "In order to study better, students need a conductive environment which can enable them to focus entirely on their studies; proper accommodation will certainly assist in such cases.
