JAMB Registration Dates* - The registration portal opens on 3rd February 2025 and closes on 5th March 2025. - There may be no extension, so candidates should register early. - Registration must be done only at Approved JAMB CBT Centres. *2. Optional JAMB Mock Exam* The optional mock exam will take place on 5th April 2025. This is for candidates who opt for it during registration. *3. JAMB Main Examination Dates* The 2025 JAMB UTME will be conducted from *Saturday, 25th April to Monday, 5th May 2025*. The exam will be held at designated centres in candidates’ chosen towns. *4. JAMB Registration Fees* UTME with Mock Exam: ₦8,200 UTME only (without Mock Exam): ₦7,200 Trial-Testing Mock for underage candidates (CBT practice): ₦3,500 *5. JAMB Recommended Novel* The 2025 JAMB recommended novel is The Lekki Headmaster by Kabir Alabi Garba. Candidates are advised to read the novel early. *6. NIN (National Identification Number) is Mandatory* Candidates must provide their NIN for JAMB registration. Without a NIN, candidates cannot register. Those without NIN should apply for it before registration. *7. How to Score High in the 2025 JAMB Exam* _To score high in JAMB, start preparing early, set a target score, and use a study system that works for you. Generating JAMB Profile Code* - All candidates must use their phone number to generate a JAMB Profile Code. - The phone number can only be used by one candidate and will be used for all JAMB communications. _Steps to Generate the Profile Code:_ - Send an SMS in the format: - "NIN 00123456789" (Replace 00123456789 with your actual 11-digit NIN) - Send to 55019 or 66019 from the registered phone number. - You will receive a 10-character Profile Code via SMS. _What to Do After Getting the Profile Code_ - Present the Profile Code at the point of purchase (Banks, MMOs, MFBs, Switches, USSD Partners). - You will receive an ePIN via SMS. - Present the ePIN and Profile Code at any JAMB-accredited CBT Centre to complete registration. *9. Important JAMB Registration Requirements* - Biometric verification is mandatory – fingerprints and a live photograph must be taken at the CBT Centre. - No candidate is allowed to submit a passport photograph. - Candidates with biometric issues must register at JAMB Headquarters, Abuja (through JAMB state offices). - Only candidates successfully verified by biometrics will be allowed to take the exam. - No parent or proxy can make any transaction on behalf of a candidate.
