Communication is the most underrated skill in interviews. As an interviewer, I skip multiple meetings just to take a single interview. I never want to reject candidates and trust me it hurts, but I’ve noticed these common patterns - 1️⃣ Candidates struggle to introduce themselves properly, explain their projects, or highlight their impact—often drowning in technical jargon. 2️⃣ When given a coding problem, many don’t ask about constraints and start solving blindly. Bhai kaise optimal solution doggee… 3️⃣ After 10 minutes, they have some approach but can’t explain it. 4️⃣ They say, "I'll explain after coding," then spend 40 minutes writing code. I sometime feel company need them… 5️⃣ Finally, they get stuck and ask for help—dude how I could help I don’t know your approach. And the most pathetic one is begging to please accept my brute force solution🥹🥹. Whether it is Google Microsoft Amazon no company will do that🥲.
