WATCH: The heavy rains that gutted most coastal parts of KwaZulu-Natal also left a trail of destruction in the City of uMhlathuze on the north coast. The city has reported 10 cases of damage to houses due to heavy rains, but there are no fatalities. Reported incidents include structural collapses, looded homes, leaking roofs, and damaged roads.  Affected areas Macekane Ward 31, Ngwelezane, Mzingwenya, Matshana, Ward, eMpangeni, and Gobandlovu.  In Ward 17, approximately 10 families have been temporarily relocated to the New Hall in Ngwelezane. Assessments are underway to determine the full extent of the damages, and the number of reported incidents is increasing as councillors continue to receive updates - The News Box
