The Diorite Sarcophagus of "Nesptah". Nesptah was a powerful priest, mayor of Thebes and governor of Upper Egypt and his family’s great wealth allowed him to order a lavish sarcophagus. Carvings of Nesptah’s names and titles are wrapped around the sarcophagus. The coffin represents Nesptah wearing a Long wig and Holding the Djed and the Ankh in his Hands. Below his Hands, there is a Depiction of a Winged Goddess probably Isis. Dates back to the 26th Dynasty, The Late Period and Dicovered in Thebes, Egypt. Displayed in the Grand Egyptian Museum in Giza, Egypt. #gem
