_Hon. Chadzamira Welcomes Minister Garwe to Masvingo, Highlights Devolution Success_ *By Tafara Pande*🇿🇼 Chiredzi – Masvingo Province’s Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution, Hon. Ezra Chadzamira, extended a warm welcome to Hon. Daniel Garwe, Minister of Local Government and Public Works, during his visit to the province. Speaking in Chiredzi, Hon. Chadzamira expressed deep gratitude to His Excellency, President Dr. E.D. Mnangagwa, for the successful implementation of the devolution fund, which has brought significant transformation to Masvingo Province since the inception of the Second Republic. Hon. Chadzamira underscored the critical role of the devolution fund in empowering local authorities to initiate and complete key developmental projects. He emphasized that this initiative aligns seamlessly with President Mnangagwa’s Vision 2030, which aims to propel Zimbabwe towards an upper-middle-income economy. “The devolution fund has given our local authorities the capacity to identify and implement projects that directly address the needs of communities. This approach ensures that development is not only inclusive but also sustainable,” he stated. Highlighting the impact of the fund, Hon. Chadzamira noted several completed and ongoing projects that have uplifted the lives of Masvingo residents. Among these are Construction of Clinics, Building of Schools and. Road Infrastructure Upgrades. He emphasized that these projects have significantly improved service delivery and infrastructure, ultimately raising the standard of living for people across the province. Hon. Chadzamira concluded his address by reaffirming the government’s dedication to sustainable development and the continuous improvement of public services through the devolution agenda.
