                            Masvingo PCC Meeting Kicks Off Planning for 2025

The Masvingo Provincial Coordinating Committee (PCC) held its first meeting of the year today at Masvingo Polytechnic College. The gathering brought together political leaders from across the province, including notable figures such as Cde Lovemore Matuke, Hon Mavhenyengwa, and Hon Mangwana. The main agenda was to chart a course for the year 2025, setting the stage for future development and progress.
During the meeting, the provincial chairman highlighted the importance of teamwork and unity. "As Masvingo, we need to work as a team. Unity is power," he emphasized. He went on to assert that Masvingo should lead by example, setting the standard for others to follow. In his remarks, he also mentioned that restructuring efforts are currently in process, aiming to streamline and strengthen the province's organizational framework.
Hon. Ezra Chadzamira, Minister of State for Provincial Affairs and Devolution for Masvingo Province, took the opportunity to thank the Zanu PF party and government workers for their hard work towards achieving the national vision. He highlighted the success of the National Development Strategy 1 (NDS1), noting that the province managed to achieve a 4.2% growth, contributing over 18 billion to the national GDP.
Hon. Chadzamira also spoke about the Masvingo Master Plan and the upcoming projects under the National Development Strategy 2 (NDS2). One of the key projects mentioned was the construction of Tenderunde, which is expected to be one of the largest undertakings in the region. This project is anticipated to significantly boost the local economy and provide numerous opportunities for the community.
As the meeting progressed, the leaders underscored their commitment to continued progress and development. The discussions and plans laid out during the meeting set a clear roadmap for the year 2025 and beyond. The emphasis on unity, teamwork, and leadership positions Masvingo Province to lead the way in achieving the national vision and fostering sustainable growth.
The Masvingo PCC meeting was a significant step towards setting the agenda for the future.
