*Have Faith in God’s Plan*
Have you ever felt like you are not good enough for a big task?
Exodus 3-4 talks about God choosing someone to bring freedom to many, and that person who had doubts was Moses. This story teaches us a lot about trusting God and doing what He asks of us. “God said to Moses, “I AM WHO I AM.” This is what you are to say to the Israelites: ‘I AM has sent me to you.’”(Exodus 3:14).
God shows up in a mysterious way – a burning bush! – to tell Moses to free the Israelites from slavery. This demonstrates the love of God in our situations. Here, God takes the first step to approach man. However, Moses is scared! He doesn’t think he’s good enough. He began making excuses.
God understands Moses’ fear and ours when it comes to facing challenges. Now, God shows Moses miracles– turning a stick into a snake, making his hand sick and then better, and changing water to blood. These signs and wonders increased the faith of Moses.
God is always aware of our situation, but we still have a part to play. Even though Moses was scared, he eventually did what God asked with faith. This teaches us to trust God, even when we’re afraid, unsure, or have doubts.
It is well
Amen.
