Not a locust was left anywhere in Egypt (Exodus 10:19). Here in Egypt, despite Pharoah’s rebellion to allow the Israelites to go, God kept on showing mercy when asked. We can apply these in our lives in so many ways when facing challenges in our rebellious lives. If God can be merciful to an enemy, what about His children? Are we guilty of sins that make it difficult for us to come closer to God? Is this an addiction in relation to sexual immorality, drugs, or alcohol? Our God is merciful to His children. Now, in Matthew 7:1, Jesus said,’ So if you who are evil know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good things to those who ask Him! Brothers and sisters, let's always remember that our problems shall surely be blown away, be it hardship, setback, disappointment, or rejection in our lives; as we continue to come to God in repentance.
