Where the new testament is a continuation of these sets of rules and commands from Christ Jesus. In absence of the greater sacrifice which provides sanctification for sins and purifications of sins, God gave his people temporary sanctification and purification rituals, although all these could not hold forever except that which is perfect came to replace that which was imperfect as the scripture says; The laws were given through Moses but grace and truth came through Jesus Christ, John 1:17. From the days of Moses to the day of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, there were many laws and regulations that were given through Moses but all these laws and regulations were mostly to be observed for cleansing and atonement before the Lord most high. Do we still need to observe these laws in the old testaments where sacrifices and offering are made for sins? Certainly not, because every law that requires cleansing, bathing and sacrifices for sins and purifications is already done once and for all through Christ Jesus once and for all for those who believe, Hebrews 7:27. May we not be led astray by wrong indoctrination and wrong teachings, which requires a wrong and deceptive approach in providing for our purifications and sanctification. Many have been misled by these devices and have fallen greatly because of ignorance. Romans 10:4 states that Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. Simply repent of your sins.
