`Custom durations for status expiration` WhatsApp needs to introduce a feature that allows users to share statuses with custom durations of 6, 12, or 48 hours, in addition to the default 24 hours. By offering the flexibility to share content for shorter or longer durations, users can ensure their updates remain relevant for the intended timeframe and foster better engagement in line with their schedules. This allows users to have better privacy control and manage the visibility of their content more effectively. This feature is particularly useful for sharing sensitive or time-sensitive information that shouldn't remain visible indefinitely. Users can choose how long their content remains visible, making the platform more adaptable to individual communication styles. I've also included a 'Set as Default' checkmark feature in my design, so that when users select different expiration options, that choice can be set as the default for subsequent status updates.
