WhatsApp has changed the way users edit the privacy settings of content when sharing it on Status. Previously, users would see a *Meatballs menu*_(⋯ three-dot menu)_ to edit the privacy settings for Status before sharing content. Now, this menu has been replaced by an *Edit* button, updating the feature. This change is reflected when forwarding content from a chat to Status or when sending content directly from the device. This update makes the status privacy settings process more accessible, allowing users to edit them before sharing their status. With just a tap on the *Edit* button, users can easily manage their status privacy settings. It replaces the previous meatballs menu, allowing users to see how many contacts have been included or excluded from viewing their status updates. By simplifying the content sharing process and adjusting privacy settings, this change enhances the user experience, ensuring a smoother and more intuitive way of managing WhatsApp Status sharing.
