It might seem like God has left you, like your fire has died out, and His presence feels distant. But remember: "For there is hope for a tree, if it is cut down, it will sprout again, and its tender shoots will not cease." (Job 14:7) Being cut is not the same as being uprooted. The tree still draws strength from its source, hidden yet alive, waiting for restoration. Samson lost his strength, his fire seemed gone—but his hair grew back. When he reconnected to his source, God’s power returned, and his purpose was fulfilled. No matter how broken you feel, if you stay connected to God, your fire will reignite. Oh Lord, help me stay rooted in You, my source of life. Restore what was lost, and let me rise again in Your strength. Amen.
