We’re delighted to share that our Executive Director, Boniface Harrison, has been invited to join the coordination team for the Run for Peace Kenya Marathon as an alumnus of the Universities and Colleges Peace Association of Kenya (UCSPAK). During this period, he will contribute key insights and support the successful implementation of peace-building initiatives. This marathon honors the 147 young lives lost in the 2015 Garissa University terror attack — the year UCSPAK was formed to foster harmony among students and address prejudices against certain communities. The marathon will also help raise funds to establish a leadership academy that will nurture young leaders committed to peace. Leading up to the main event on April 6, 2025, at Nyayo Stadium, 47 Days of Peace was launched, with activities taking place across all 47 counties to promote national unity.
