President Nangolo Mbumba led the Khomas Regional Route Procession alongside government leaders, family members, and friends of the late Founding President, Dr. Sam Shafiishuna Nujoma. Thousands of Namibians and friends of Namibia lined the streets of Windhoek to pay their homage and last respect. This procession marks the final leg of the national tribute. The Route Procession concluded at the Parliament Gardens, where the remains of Dr. Sam Nujoma will lie in state.
