Never abandon your prayer. There are millions in their graves who would give anything to return for just one more Sujood (prostration). They now realize the value of what they neglected, but it’s too late. Allah describes their regret: And spend [in the way of Allāh] from what We have provided you before death approaches one of you and he says, "My Lord, if only You would delay me for a brief term so I could give charity and be among the righteous." (Surah Al-Munafiqun: 10). Take advantage of the time you have now. Pray, remember Allah, and be among those who seize every moment to draw closer to Him. Don’t wait until regret becomes the only option.
