In Psalm 100:5, we read, "For the Lord is good and his love endures forever; his faithfulness continues through all generations." These words remind us that God's goodness is not just a feeling or an emotion, but a fundamental aspect of His character. He is good, and His love endures forever. When we face challenges and difficulties in life, it's easy to lose sight of God's goodness. We may wonder if He is still with us, if He still cares about us. But Psalm 100:5 reminds us that God's goodness is not dependent on our circumstances. It is a constant, unwavering reality that we can always count on. So let us hold on to hope in God's goodness. Let us trust that He is working everything out for our good, even when we can't see it.
