*TODAY'S WORD'S OF TRANSFORMATION*
_Sunday 2nd February,2025_
*Topic* : *Faith in God's Promises*
*Text* : *Hebrews 11:1*
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ,
Today, we're going to talk about faith in God's promises.
*Hebrews 11:1*
" _Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see."_
Faith is not just a feeling or an emotion, but a choice to trust in God's promises, even when we can't see the outcome.
It's the assurance that what God has said, He will do.
In the Bible, we see many examples of people who had faith in God's promises.
Abraham, for example, was promised a son by God, despite being old and childless.
He had faith in God's promise, and eventually, his son Isaac was born.
Similarly, we are called to have faith in God's promises for our lives.
We may not see the fulfillment of those promises yet, but we can trust that God is working everything out for our good.
So, let's choose to trust in God's promises today.
Let's have faith that He is faithful and that His promises are true.
Summary
- Faith is confidence in God's promises and assurance of what we can't see (Hebrews 11:1).
- Faith is a choice to trust in God's promises, even when we can't see the outcome.
- God's promises are backed by His power and faithfulness.
