However, he's also being sucking up to Trump's America a lot since the inauguration (despite insults hurled at Trump before). Given that Trump has said that China's success of its new-era DeepSeek has been a wake-up call for the US. Given US tech firms' already have a firm foothold in Britain (Palantir's handling of NHS patient data being a prime example), it's entirely possible that Starmer will roll over for Trump and let any hope of a British AI revolution be completely bankrolled by US capital!
