The fact of the matter is that the British people voted to shed themselves of corrupt capital-chasing elites that face no accountability. And that struggle is still not over: we face our own domestic brand of corrupt politician. The truth of the matter is that while certain sections of the ruling class have resigned themselves to the idea of being out of the EU, they won't take advantage of the potential benefits and are sticking to the neoliberal way that thus far has only promised us decline. There are a range of common sense socialist benefits that arise from being out of the neoliberal imperialist bloc known as the EU. One of those is much greater freedom in industrial policy and matters of public ownership - and these are exactly what successive governments have ignored since leaving.
