Reeves has FAILED to intervene in a ruling regarding lenders and car loans. The government had concerns that the ruling would reduce the availability of car loans. Whilst this may sound mundane it is further evidence that this neoliberal Labour government is in the pocket of big business - in this case green capitalists! One factor in why neoliberal British governments don't invest in public transport anywhere near as much as they should is because of an economy based around car ownership and use. And with NetZero ideology permeating every level of government there's an obsession with ensuring new lithium-heavy vehicles dominate our roads. Financing new car purchases is of course top priority!
