The multi-million dollar Barbados Fire Service and Emergency Service Complex at The Pine, St. Michael is projected to be completed by the end of April. Officials say the current expenditure for the multi-purpose, state-of-the-art complex, which will house the Fire Service’s Headquarters and the ambulance and emergency services operations, is $33.5 Million. Minister of Home Affairs Wilfred Abrahams says despite some hiccups along the way, including supply chain challenges, he’s impressed with the progress of the construction.
