The network's most recent attack was in the Dasht-e-Qala district of Takhar province, where they targeted and killed a Chinese national. Similarly, with the divine assistance of Almighty Allah, the special forces of the Islamic Emirate have also detained numerous members of an armed criminal gang involved in kidnappings and attacks on jewelers and money exchangers in Takhar province. This gang was accountable for the martyrdom of a jeweler, a money exchanger, and the younger brother of an abducted child. According to Al-Mersaad sources, certain concealed elements were also supporting this criminal gang, with the intention of destabilizing the security situation and raising concerns regarding development and economic projects. The apprehended members of this gang have also confessed to their offenses. Both of these gangs had intentions for a succession of other destructive activities, but thankfully, with their suppression, the planned harmful activities were averted.
