*Stand Together for Our Rights: Fair Wages and Safety Cannot Wait!*
It is allegedly reported that during a health and safety training session today, a field worker raised a critical question about the ongoing outbreak of tiger mosquitoes on the farms. Shockingly, both the health and safety officer and the assistant farm manager confirmed that the company is unwilling or unable to take any action to address this serious issue.
This shameless disregard for the health and safety of field workers is unacceptable. It is clear that management prioritizes meeting targets and maximizing productivity over the well-being of the very people who keep the operations running.
Ignoring such a significant health risk not only demonstrates a lack of empathy but also exposes the company’s failure to fulfill its basic duty of care toward its workers. This negligence must be addressed immediately, as the health and safety of workers should never be compromised for the sake of profit or efficiency.
Despite these unsafe and hazardous conditions, field workers continue to give their absolute best to meet the company’s targets. Their unwavering dedication and sacrifice are the backbone of this plantation, yet their efforts are met with unconcerned and neglect. This is precisely why we cannot and will not settle for anything less than what we rightfully deserve.
It is absolutely unacceptable that while the PMSU enjoys their privileges and benefits, we are left to struggle with outdated salaries that fail to meet the rising cost of living. How can we be expected to work efficiently on empty stomachs? How can we afford medical bills in 2025 when our wages remain stagnant?
We are not machines—we are human beings who deserve fair compensation, dignity, and the ability to thrive, not just survive.
Enough is enough. We must unite and demand that management return to the negotiation table immediately. We will not accept empty promises or half-hearted solutions. We demand fair wages, safe working conditions, and respect for the sacrifices we make every day to keep this plantation operational.
Let us stand together, voice our grievances, and ensure that our collective displeasure is heard loud and clear. Share this message with every colleague and friend. It is time to fight for what is rightfully ours.
**Thank you.**
