*Finance Fact: Monthly Tax Collection!* As per news flows and provisional figures, the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) has collected PKR 872bn in Jan’25, thereby missing its monthly tax collection target of PKR 957bn by PKR 85bn. This brings tax collection for the first seven months of Fiscal Year 2025 to PKR 6,497bn falling PKR 468bn short of its target of PKR 6,965bn.
