Success is the ability to keep faith in the midst of adversity.
Success is fulfilling God's purpose for your life.
Success is to keep pressing on, on the path of God's calling, and fulfilling the assignment for each season. That is what success is.
Defining success in the way of physical progress or material acquisition is idolatry.
