UltraTech Cement Limited, an Aditya Birla Group company, plans to expand into the wires and cables segment with an investment of ~₹1,800 crore over the next two years. The Board has approved the plan, aligning with the company's strategy to strengthen its position as a comprehensive building solutions provider. The expansion will be executed through UltraTech's Building Products Division, leveraging its manufacturing expertise and strong customer network. A new plant will be set up near Bharuch, Gujarat, with commissioning expected by December 2026.
