Friday around 4am: Car spiked near Diepsloot, N14. The driver says: “I was forced to stop. Almost immediately, I heard the sound of a gun being drawn. There were three individuals involved; one threw something at my car, throwing bricks at my window , while another approached my driver’s window with a firearm. I pleaded with them not to shoot, and fortunately, I managed to drive away. “I have since contacted the Diepsloot police station, but I have yet to receive a case number. This road has been known to be high-risk for years, yet there is still a lack of police patrols in the area.
