No injuries were reported after a vehicle overturned on the R102 near Inyaninga - KZN this afternoon (Friday).
Members of Reaction Unit South Africa (RUSA) arrived on scene at approximately 18:16 and found an overturned red Kia Pegas in a bush next to the road. The driver informed Reaction Officers that he lost control of the car after he avoided a pothole.
The vehicle was extensively damaged in the accident....

Members from the Pietermaritzburg POP unit and Umzinyathi District were following up on crime intelligence, which led them to a property in the Mbabane area.
The suspects allegedly ambushed the police and opened fire, but officers responded swiftly, avoiding injury.
Two AK-47 rifles, a revolver, and ammunition have been recovered....

Multiple injuries have been reported following a three-vehicle collision along the M25 Kwa Mashu Highway, just before the Duffs Road offramp.
KZNVIP Medics responded to the scene after receiving requests for immediate medical assistance from passing motorists.
Upon arrival, it was confirmed that three vehicles were involved, one of which was a fully-loaded minibus taxi.
Injuries varied from minor to moderate, with KZNVIP Medics working efficiently to stabilize all patients before transporting them to medical facilities.
Thankfully, no fatalities have been reported.
At this stage, the exact cause of the crash remains unclear, and the roadway has been severely impacted, with three lanes closed.
Authorities continue to investigate.

A mum and her two kids narrowly escaped injury after their vehicle burst into flames earlier today on the N2 Northbound, just before Umhloti.
KZNVIP Medics responded to reports of a motor vehicle collision and arrived to find the family highly traumatized, standing on the freeway as their vehicle was engulfed in flames.
Medics assisted the family, ensuring their safety, and called for further support from the Metro Fire Department. Unfortunately, the vehicle was extensively damaged and could not be saved.
The circumstances leading up to the fire are currently unknown.
One lane has been reopened, but traffic is still severely affected as a result of the incident.
