All SASSA beneficiaries need to switch their gold Postbank cards to the new black Postbank cards or alternatively, switch to a bank payment before 20 March 2025. After this date, gold cards will no longer be valid. Postbank is still in the process of sourcing a site in Robertson, which will be communicated to all SASSA beneficiaries and stakeholders as soon as it is known. The nearest location where the new black card is issued is Shoprite in Durban Street, Worcester, operating Monday to Friday (08:00 - 17:00).
