In 2016, Ofsted wrote a letter to express concerns about continuing low standards and weaknesses in the quality of provision for secondary aged pupil across the Black Country.   Today, Q3 Academy Langley - in Sandwell - is one of the highest performing schools in the country.   In 2024, P8 for all pupil was +0.81. For disadvantaged pupils, it was +0.60.   From their Ofsted report:   Pupils at Q3 Academy Langley behave impeccably. They are extremely proud to meet the school’s high standards, which they affectionately dub the ‘Langleylicious Way’.
