Just as a dead person cannot respond to external stimuli, a person trapped in sin cannot respond to God’s calling without divine intervention. *Walking in New Life* As believers, we must continually remind ourselves of the new identity we have in Christ. This means: * Turning away from sin and refusing to go back to what once enslaved us (Romans 6:6). * Living in righteousness, allowing the Holy Spirit to guide our thoughts and actions (Galatians 5:16). * Walking in God’s fullness, embracing His grace and reflecting His love to the world (Colossians 2:6-7).
