*Question of the day* from my daily Q & A series. *Subscribe* for the answer and for daily reminder blogs: *https://t.me/FarinaSiddiquipostings* *Let's defeat Islamophobia together*!!! Q: *How does Islām view human rights*? *A*: Freedom of conscience is laid down by the Qur’ān itself: “There shall be no compulsion in [acceptance of] the Deen(divine way of life)” (2:256) The life, honor and property of all citizens in an Islāmically ruled state (or anywhere) are considered sacred whether the person is Muslim or not. *O mankind*, *indeed We have created you from male and female and made you peoples and tribes that you may know one another*. *Indeed, the most noble of you in the sight of Allah is the most righteous of you*. *Indeed, Allah is Knowing and Acquainted*.” (Qur’ān 49:13) In Islam, human rights are a fundamental part of faith that are based on the belief that God (Allah) is the source of all rights. They are intended to uphold human dignity and eliminate oppression, injustice, and exploitation.  Islam gave to mankind an ideal code of human rights 1400 years ago. These rights aim at conferring honour and dignity on mankind and eliminating exploitation, oppression and injustice. Human rights in Islam are firmly rooted in the belief that Allah, and Allah, the Almighty God alone, is the Law Giver and the Source of all human rights. Due to their Divine origin, no ruler, government, assembly or authority can curtail or violate in any way the human rights conferred by Allah, nor can they be surrendered. Human rights in Islam are an integral part of the overall Islamic order and it is obligatory on all Muslim governments and organs of society to implement them in letter and in spirit within the framework of that order. We are all human beings created by one Creator (Allah). There's no superiority for anyone over anyone except for the piety. There's no difference of rights on the bases of color, creed or family background.. *Please share with family and friends* For more Islam Q & As, please like and share my page.
