ICPAK SIGNS A PACT WITH NAROK COUNTY TO ENHANCE FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT AND GOVERNANCE WITHIN THE COUNTY . The Institute of Certified Public Accountants of Kenya (ICPAK) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Narok County Government to enhance financial management and governance within the county: Speaking during the signing of the memorandum, Narok County Government Deputy Governor H.E Tamalinye Koech welcomed the move by ICPAK to enter into the MoU with Narok County Government. On her part, ICPAK vice chairman, CPA Prof. Elizabeth Kalunda expressed confidence that the MoU will be a game changer for the two institutions in the management of public resources. The collaboration aims to include provisions for creating internship and employment opportunities for CPAs, fostering professional development, and addressing financial reporting and management practices needs within the county. The ICPAK vice chairman was accompanied by ICPAK CEO CPA Dr. Grace Kamau, council members FCPA Georgina Malombe, FCPA Hesbon Omollo, and CPA Wycliffe Bichang’a alongside other institute senior officers, South Rift Branch Chairman, CPA Kipkemoi Ng'etich among other Branch leaders.
