Nearly 5 years after being banned due to diplomatic tensions between Beijing and New Delhi, the Chinese fast-fashion platform Shein has reopened in India through a partnership with Reliance’s retail chain. Mukesh Ambani & Isha Ambani’s Reliance Retail has made a major comeback to one of Asia’s biggest retail sectors by introducing the new Shein India Fast Fashion app. Shein is initially offering delivery in select cities including New Delhi, Bengaluru and Mumbai and plans to expand it across India very soon.
