*Empowering Lives in Kumbawe, Malawi : 7th Feb 2025* https://youtube.com/shorts/eUMkgWr1gZc?feature=shared On our fifth day, we embarked on a two-hour journey to the remote village of Kumbawe, eager to make a meaningful impact. Our first initiative was gifting 10 bicycles to high school students who had been walking 5–6 km daily just to attend class. These bicycles will not only ease their commute but also give them more time and energy to focus on their education. Next, we distributed five sewing machines, equipping individuals with the tools to earn a living, support their families, and gain financial independence. We then visited our new livestock project, where families receive goats and, in turn, pass them on to other communities, creating a sustainable source of income.
